About Our Youth Programs

We offer a range of youth programs focused on community building, leadership development, and joyful expression for trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive young people. These programs are designed to provide safe, affirming spaces and vital mentorship opportunities.

Key Youth Programs Include:

  • Possibility Adult Leader (PAL) Mentorship Program: This program pairs trans and gender-expansive youth with trans adult mentors. It is designed to foster meaningful, consistent relationships that allow youth to see and learn from thriving trans adults. Research indicates that having at least one safe, affirming adult in a young person's life can significantly improve mental health outcomes.

  • Trans Youth Action Team (TYAT): TYAT is a leadership program for trans and nonbinary high school students in Hampshire County. Guided by trans educators and organizers, these youth leaders conduct trainings and workshops for schools and community groups to increase understanding and advocate for trans joy and inclusivity.

  • Youth Drop-In for Tweens & Teens: A popular program for trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive youth (ages 9-18), this drop-in space provides a brave place to create art, socialize, and build community.

  • Affirmations: Trans Book Club: This book club, for trans and nonbinary youth middle grade youth (ages 8-12), fosters connection by exploring and discussing literature that centers the experiences of trans and gender-creative characters.

  • Special Events: We hosts several community-wide events throughout the year that celebrate trans and gender-expansive people like our All Ages Movie Nights, Trivia, Board Game Night, and much more!
